Beidh dreigechith le feiceáil san oíche amárach, a léitheoirí!
Bhuel, san oíche amárach ach go háirithe, de réir mar atá léite agam ar astromony.ie. Dar leo,
‘The Perseids have been observed for around 2000 years, and are the result of Earth passing through a cloud of dust left behind Comet Swift-Tuttle. As Earth moves through this cloud, the particles fall into our atmosphere and burn up, creating spectacular streaks of light in the sky, known as meteors or shooting stars. This shower is named after the constellation Perseus, from which the meteors appear to come from in the sky. '
Más mian leat bheith páirteach san Nationwide Perseid Watch, coinnígí súil ar na meitéir, comhairigí iad gach 15 nóiméad, agus cuir an t-eolas a gheobhaidh sibh ar aghaidh chuig ‘meteor ag astronomy.ie’.
Gach eolas anseo, a chairde na meitéar.

Chonaic mé iad go soiléir ó chnoc Caerphilly anocht! Cinn malla, cinn tapa, cinn stríocacha. Go haoibhinn. Ach tá boladh caorach uaim anois th'éis bheith i mo luí ar an gcnoc.
